The District of Quebec is a Fellowship made up of more than one hundred multilingual churches and communities across Quebec. We exist to support the work of leaders and churches in proclaiming the Gospel, to contribute to helping the poor and to the development of each individual. In this relational approach, we are committed to the following values:

Eric and Rachel Dufour, are pastors, missionaries, counselors and international speakers. They passionately believe in healthy marriages, families and healthy servants of God.
As they began their church planting ministry in France in 1991, they worked for 5 years at a rehab center for women in distress and drug addict men. For the following four years they pastored two different churches in France. Then in 2000, they and their five young sons left the safety of their country to answer the call of the great commission in a communist country of Southeast Asia.
There, they worked toward unreached tribes through sustainable development projects, and were also involved in underground pastoral training activities, equipping the persecuted church.
They became Country Coordinators of a locally based International NGO and also the Asia Regional Directors for their mission organization.
Serving God on the mission field was very challenging but God used their pain journey, through a life-threatening disease and the depression that ensued, to shape their ministry. In 2008, they moved to Colorado with their family to follow a two year training on pastoral counseling and began offering comprehensive marriage counseling to pastors and missionaries from all over the globe.
Serving Alongside Ministry (SAM), the organization they founded, uses strategically located retreat centers all around the world to provide week-long, intensive marriage counseling sessions for those who have dedicated their lives to growing the kingdom of God. SAM also purposes to aid in the prevention of distressed marriages with their video series 40 Days to a Successful Marriage. In 2016, they produced another video series, 12 Steps to Sexual Intimacy, to help married couples understand God’s design for sexuality.
Eric and Rachel also frequently speak at pastor and missionary conferences in America, Europe and Asia. Encouragement via their writings can be found at topchretien.com and also micn.org.
Rachel published her first book in English, French and Spanish, a guide to women’s sexuality, Hurray for the Va Jay Jay.
Eric & Rachel are both currently working on their Doctorate of Ministry in Counseling with Vision International University in Ramona, California.
