Coaching 100

Curiosity- and listening-based learning to support leaders in reaching their full potential

This training will take place for the very first time in Kingston, Ontario at Donald Gordan Hotel & Conference centre and will be offered as follows:

• Thursday, April 9th, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. (full day)
• Friday, April 10th, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. (departure after supper)

Our desire is that no worker does ministry alone. This coaching program was created to develop coaches in the context of church and ministry. Coaching helps address the challenges, questions, and issues leaders may face, while equipping them to be more effective in their responsibilities, ministry, and calling. You will also have the opportunity, if you wish, to become a certified coach.

The 100-level training (first part of two) will cover topics such as:

• Coaching : what is it about
• Biblical concepts in coaching
• Coaching considerations
• Learn how to really listen
• Learn how to ask effective questions
• Process of change

Options:

• Registration with accommodation (only): available until March 9th, 2026
• Travel to the location is at your discretion; the district only provides the sleeping arrangements
